Happy mid-week! I hope you’re having a wonderful week. 🙂 In the following weeks, I’ll present to you with some excerpts/spotlights of my highly anticipated reads this year since the awesome Rockstar Book Tour has them all. ❤
To kick-start this month, a.k.a. the beginning of the beautiful Autumn, Delacorte Press publishes a very exciting Young Adult Contemporary novel, Who Put This Song On? by Morgan Parker and this post is all about this super promising story!
Hello, lovely people!
How’s your day so far? In case anyone’s curious, I started writing this unboxing post on Aug. 11th, right after having our typhoon holiday but then I sort of forgot to schedule so here I am again, picking up where the post’s left one week later. Anyway, last week was as busy as I expected and guess what? It’s Sunday night and just thinking about having to go to work tomorrow exhausts me, haha.
Busy working schedule aside, I’ve done a wee bit too much bookish shopping on impulse in the past few days and I…regret nothing. LOL I’ll make sure to share with you my latest treasure hunt. 🙂 For today’s unboxing, it’s my second OwlCrate box, a monthly subscription box featuring the hottest YA book (always signed by the author and with an exclusive cover) and some goodies going along with the theme, and as usual, I enjoy unboxing it and getting surprised by the items inside. 😀
Without further ado, let the OwlCrate unboxing party begin!
Hello! It’s me again. Here to bring you another thrilling cover reveal for one of my favorite Contemporary Romance authors, Claire Contreras‘ upcoming book, Because You’re Mine! I adored Claire’s Hearts series so I’m extremely excited to tell you that her next book will be available next week! ❤
Without further ado, let’s get down to business, shall we?
Hey, guys! Happy July!!! Today I’ve got not one but TWO exciting cover reveals for some of my most coveted reads this year for you so stay tuned and don’t forget to add them to your TBR. 😀
The first one is a contemporary romance written by my newly discovered favorite author, S.J. Sylvis, whose debut novel, Three Summers, has been one of the best books I’ve read this year. *I’ll be posting my full review of Three Summers this weekend. :P*
I fell in love with S.J. Sylvis’ writing style and plot design right after I dove into Three Summers; hence, when I heard she has another book coming out in July, I immediately signed up for both the cover reveal and ARC review opportunity. 😉
P.S. If you’re interested in participating in the upcoming book promo, I’ll leave the link later in the post!
Whoop! Whoop! Look what I’ve got for you today!
It’s the cover reveal to one of my most anticipated books this year because it’s from my all-time-favorite author, Emma Scott! ❤
Let me introduce you to her upcoming duet–Beautiful Hearts–including Bring Down the Stars (comes out on July 26th) and Long Live the Beautiful Hearts (August 9th). Isn’t this exciting!? Keep reading and you’ll get more information about this must-be-heartbreakingly-awesome duet. 🙂
Here we go!
On the remnants of oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico and Dauphin Island, Joe is a typical Nob Platform teenager, except that her Mom left a year ago for a more social Platform, and her Dad sometimes forgets she exists. But she knows she wants a career in Communications, so her high school senior project “See-Saw” focuses on long-distance underwater connections. Drayton, Joe’s best friend, discovers lights moving on Land at the same time Joe picks up SOS signals with her See-Saw.
Though Land has been silent since technology was destroyed during the Moralist Revolution, Joe and Drayton discover that the Platform Planning Commission (PPC) seems to be ultimately responsible for the Bone Virus that precipitated the Revolution. They enlist the help of Flox, a debunked scientist, to take them to Land to investigate the remnants of human Land society—before the PPC can stop them. What they find on Land will forever change the course of their lives and the lives of all Platform Dwellers.
Welcome to my stop of this super exciting blog tour–the one I’ve been dying to take part in–hosted by my lovely friend Karina @AfirePages in partnership with HarperCollins International for one of my most anticipated reads this year, The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo!
In today’s post, you’ll find more info about this wonderful book, links to buy your copy, my review, a beautiful blog tour schedule created by Karina and an international giveaway for a chance to win a copy of The Poet X.
Let the show begin!
Good afternoon, guys! 🙂
Apparently it’s been a while since I last posted something casual or basically, something non-blog-tour-ish, so I decided to write my second post for this interesting meme. Besides, I also have some plans in mind regarding my bookish and real life; hence, I’m still contemplating on how to make such announcement.
Anyway, I’ll start today’s post by sharing my current TBR and the books I planned to finish this week and then I’ll be talking about other random stuff. 😀
How’s your weekend? I hope y’all have a great time. My family and I had an amazing Chinese New Year and tomorrow will be the last day of the holiday. Before the holiday ends, here’s a little sneak peek for my top favorite author, Jennifer L. Armentrout‘s, next release, the sequel to the de Vincent series, Moonlight Seduction.
Have I told you how incredibly lucky and excited I am for taking a part in this preorder campaign? Well, I’m telling you now! I can’t wait to read this series since the first book, Moonlight Sin, has been one of my most coveted reads this year. Honestly, I didn’t know JLA’s releasing the second installment this summer (so soon!) until I saw her book promo somewhere online. 😛
Hence, I’m beyond thrilled to share what I know about this book with you in today’s post! Here’s what you can expect from the following content:
- Official synopsis of the book & buy links
- Ways to get bonus contents for those who preorder the book
- Exclusive Chapter Reveal!!! (Trust me, you don’t want to miss this.)
Let’s get started!
