It’s finally weekend and I’m so excited to share this pre-release, a.k.a. teaser, blitz for one of my most anticipated reads next month!!! So, That Got Weird by Amelia Kingston is the first book in the So Far, So Good series, and I believe it can be read as a standalone rom-com. ❤
To be honest, I haven’t heard of Amelia before signing up for this pre-release blitz, but the synopsis of this book truly captivates me the moment I read about it. So why not give another brand-new author a shot?! B-)
Unable to stay calmed when I have so much about this book to share with you, let’s get this started, shall we?
Happy Sunday, bookish peeps!
How’s your weekend so far? As usual, I have lots of sleep and I’ve been idling for a while so I’m feeling fantastic at the moment. lol What about you? Do you read some great books?
My life has been getting crazier and crazier the past few weeks and it’s mainly because of my job. There’s been more and more new comers in our office so I’m no longer the novice, which is pretty sad considering that I’ve switched to three different departments throughout the year and I’m constantly learning something new. Anyways, due to the harsh reality, I’m forced to adapt to the competitive environment ASAP and bring my A-game in this professional field.
That being said, my reading schedule has been postponing quite a lot and so does my blogging schedule. Thus, I’d like to share my August OwlCrate unboxing with you today even though it’s almost the end of October. Gladly, I didn’t get their September one so one less post to make! 😛
Hello, beautiful people (*insert Ed Sheeran ft. Khalid’s new song*)!!
Today I’m freshening up your brand-new week with a fabulous book and a newly discovered author called The Bar Next Door by Katia Rose. Since my stop for this book blitz is supposed to be promotional only, plus I’m also halfway through the book, so in the following content, you’ll only find many yummilicious teasers, buy links, author’s info, and an international giveaway (ending in 3 days!!). As for my promised review, I’ll wait until I’m completely finished before putting my full thought up here. BUT, I can guarantee you that this book is totally worthy of trying because from what I’ve read so far, the entire plot has totally exceeded my expectation. ❤
Hello, lovely people!
How’s your day so far? In case anyone’s curious, I started writing this unboxing post on Aug. 11th, right after having our typhoon holiday but then I sort of forgot to schedule so here I am again, picking up where the post’s left one week later. Anyway, last week was as busy as I expected and guess what? It’s Sunday night and just thinking about having to go to work tomorrow exhausts me, haha.
Busy working schedule aside, I’ve done a wee bit too much bookish shopping on impulse in the past few days and I…regret nothing. LOL I’ll make sure to share with you my latest treasure hunt. 🙂 For today’s unboxing, it’s my second OwlCrate box, a monthly subscription box featuring the hottest YA book (always signed by the author and with an exclusive cover) and some goodies going along with the theme, and as usual, I enjoy unboxing it and getting surprised by the items inside. 😀
Without further ado, let the OwlCrate unboxing party begin!
Good afternoon, everyone!
I don’t usually post on weekdays but since I’m suffering from gastroenteritis, a.k.a. the stomach flu, these days, I’m gonna seize the precious chance to share my latest bookish unboxing with you. 🙂 Even though I wasn’t feeling quite perky, I did regain some energy after sleeping for hours.
Anyways, please let me present my first ever OwlCrate unboxing for you! As you know, I’m a huge fan of bookish subscription boxes and after trying out a couple of them this year, I’m pretty confident to say that OwlCrate is by far the most satisfying box among them all. Everything in June, 2019 OwlCrate has totally blown me away–even more than that in Once Upon a Book Club April, 2019 box–and I can’t contain my excitement any longer!
Let the unboxing party begin!
Today, I’m presenting to you another bookish box I tried this month and it’s called Books that Matter. Books that Matter is a rather young, start-up business launching sometime around July/August last year, so everything’s pretty fresh and unheard-of to me. What makes this subscription box stands out is that they feature indie artists, designers, authors, and publishers in their boxes so that everything included represents their endless support for those small yet promising businesses like them.
What’s more, Books that Matter is probably the first and number one FEMINIST subscription box based in the U.K. since all of their products and bookish boxes revolve around discovering new female authors or historical heroines. Anyway, I can’t wait to share what I’ve got in my first Books that Matter box in March, with the theme “Forgotten Women!”
Happy 2019, everyone!!!
Long time no see! I know I’m pretty late to the new year celebration but here I am, kickstarting the first blog post in 2019 with one of my top favorite authors, Emma Scott’s, brand new re-release, a.k.a. Unbreakable! *smiling sheepishly*
There will be a yummilicious teaser, exclusive excerpt, and a chance to win $25 Amazon gift card in this post so I hope you’ll have a blast here! Besides, I’ve got more book reviews/life updates/music power-ups for you in the following weeks so please stay tuned!! Thanks for your patience and let’s get this party started! ❤
How are y’all doing? I’m busy as usual but I do start to get the hang of everything in life so hopefully things are truly looking up this time. 😛 All right, let’s cut to the chase! In case you have no idea what this book I’m sharing my thoughts with you today is about, here’s its synopsis from Goodreads:
A teenage contortionist and a young cardsharp risk danger to right a family legacy of injustice…
Nineteen-year-old contortionist Ren Putri is committed to circus, study and self-discipline – in that order. But after being rescued from a carnival fire by cardsharp Zep Deal, she’s overwhelmed by some highly disorderly thoughts. Zep has a history of trouble, and now he’s been suspected of sabotaging the circus that’s become his whole life. Ren is already coping with family, and keeping secrets of her own – but she can’t resist a mystery. Will Ren’s penchant for solving puzzles bring the case against Zep to rights, or will digging further into the bad blood between rival carnivals only put them both in danger?
Dark YA romance, with a criminal twist – Circus Hearts: Step. Right. Up.
Hi, guys. I know I’ve been posting quite a lot of cover reveals and release blitzes these days, and I apologize for scheduling all of them at the same time. There won’t be as many posts like these as it seems lately in the following weeks so I hope there’ll be more reviews/more exciting bookish news soon.
For today’s release blitz, it’s all about this cute YA Contemporary novel called Dear Dwayne, With Love by Eliza Gordon and there’ll be an international giveaway for you to win a physical copy of this colorful book AND a swag pack! So stay tuned!
